The Irish experience

Our clients relocated from Dublin having purchased an old rectory on an 18 acre site on the outskirts of a midlands town. Having carried out extensive renovations on a listed building and outhouses, the couple’s thoughts turned to the question of security.

They discovered that the house had been burgled twice, with police suspecting the involvement of local youths. As their business involved carrying valuable stock and cash at the house, they knew they were at a greater risk of robbery or violent attack. Our clients had already used the Netwatch system on their business warehouse premises and were impressed by its effectiveness. They invited Netwatch to complete a security survey of their home.

The couple has employed a Netwatch system that visually monitors the perimeter of their residence 24-7 with panic buttons placed throughout the house and vehicles. The couple feels that the Netwatch system has provided them with a level of protection that they could not find elsewhere.

The international experience

An Irish consortium owning a portfolio of international properties was experiencing problems with security in many of their locations. They were paying local security services to monitor properties with annual bills often mounting to several thousands of pounds. Some locations even continued to be burgled.

One member of this consortium had used Netwatch services in their Irish business in Cork and knowing the capability of the technology investigated the possibility of using the services abroad.
The results have been extremely satisfactory. Members can now view live footage of their properties abroad with several attempted break-ins foiled through the use of audio warnings by Netwatch. Several members of the consortium have also opted to use Netwatch services for their private holiday homes in Spain and elsewhere. When they are not there, they can check entrants to their homes at the touch of a button. They are secure in the knowledge that Netwatch is monitoring their properties.
