David Walsh - Managing Director
Castleisland native David Walsh, along with Niall Kelly, formed Netwatch in Carlow in 2003. The company has since grown from being the first Irish company to use modern communication technologies to provide remote visual monitoring systems to businesses to Europe’s largest Visual Monitoring Company. A graduate of UCD, David has 15 years Senior Management experience with a highly successful, internationally traded Engineering Company. An expert in leadership and strategic planning, David oversees short, medium and long-term targets for Netwatch and ensures they are not only achieved but surpassed.

Niall Kelly - Technical Director
Niall Kelly started his technical career in 1987 in a Large Manufacturing company called Keenan, in Carlow. As an electronic engineer, Niall was in charge of designing and manufacturing Electronic weighing systems. An entrepreneur at heart, Niall was responsible for many firsts within Keenan including inventing the first microprocessor based axle weighing device. Niall progressed through Keenan, becoming HR Manager, Quality Manager, and eventually Sales Director for the UK branch of the company. Niall founded his own electronic security company, in 1995, and continued this company successfully until, together with David Walsh, he founded Netwatch in 2002. Netwatch has since become the largest Remote Visual Monitoring Company in Europe. Niall holds a Diploma in Electronic Engineering, a certificate in Instrumentation, and over twenty years experience in the design and installation of CCTV and intruder alarm systems.

Adrian Norton - General Manager
Adrian Norton, a Law graduate joined Netwatch in 2004 from Munster Joinery. Originally from Athlone he had previously held senior management positions within the Wolsley Group. During his time at Netwatch his ability to get the job done has seen him succeed in management positions across all disciplines and he was appointed to the role of General Manager in January 2011. He believes that the strength of the company stems from the character and dedication of the entire team.

Gerard Hennessy - Financial Controller
As a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Accountants, Gerard Hennessy has extensive experience in the financial services industry. Starting out as a Trainee Chartered Accountant with a medium sized practice in 1994, Gerard moved quickly up the ranks of various companies to his current position as Financial Controller for Netwatch Ireland Ltd, which he has held since July 2009. With his accumulative 15 years’ experience, Gerard is an expert in streamline reporting to allow for effective management, group credit control, currency management and tax strategies.
