A big thank you to all who donated so generously at our fundraising day in the Fairgreen, your support has helped to raise much needed funds for the Soul of Haiti Foundation.

Team Netwatch along with Netwatch Brand Ambassador Mick Galway and 15 other staff members will cycle the gruelling 330 kilometers from Cashel to Galway over the May bank holiday weekend to raise money for the Soul of Haiti Foundation.

“The Fairgreen kindly allowed us to run this event at the shopping centre, we had two bikes and challenged people to come along and take on Mick Galwey in a cycle. The public really came out and supported us and got involved, there was fantastic Community spirit, with lots of people wishing us luck in our endeavour", says David Walsh, Netwatch CEO.

Fundraising Bake Sale a Great Success PDF Print E-mail

Following on from our hugely successful gig in Scraggs Alley, we held a bake sale in work this morning, to raise more funds for Team Netwatch and their Cycle for the Soul of Haiti foundation.

So many staff brought along homemade, cakes, cookies, buns and sausage rolls, the kitchen was full of glorious food! You would think that 8am was too early to eat cookies and cream cakes but you would be wrong! We have managed it.

We are following this bake sale with a cycleathon in the Fairgreen Shopping Centre in Carlow town on Saturday, April 21st, where members of the public can cycle against the Irish & Munster Rugby Legend and Netwatch Brand Ambassador Mick Galwey.

A big thank you to everyone involved.

Some members of Team Netwatch, Avril Johnson, David Finn & Niall Kelly, Netwatch Technical Director.

By SAOIRSE MCGARRIGLE, as featured in the New Ross Standard, Tuesday February 14 2012

YOU no longer have to be a ' whizz kid' to get on board the technological liferaft, which is saving thousands of Irish businesses from going bust. That's the message of the organisers behind the Techovate 2012 conference, a two-day business and technology conference which will be held on March 21 and 22, aimed at driving business development through technology. The conference will use dialogue, seminars and workshops to show business people how they can use technology to gain a competitive advantage and accelerate growth in a fast-moving global marketplace.

Technovate 2012, launched last week at Wexford Opera House, offers a unique opportunity for Irish businesses of all sizes and sectors to interact and learn from senior global executives of some of the world's leading technology companies, including the 'Big 5' - Microsoft, Google, IBM, Facebook and Linkedin. There has been a phenomenal response and support for Techovate from vice-presidents and directors of big global technology companies, all of whom have volunteered their time to address the conference in person or via video link, and attend forums and panel discussions. It is hoped that they will deliver insights into how to accelerate business growth in a fast-moving global marketplace.
