Netwatch Presented with Security Award by Minister[Carlow People]

A Carlow company recieved its Private Security Authority (PSA) Licence from Minister for Justice Michael Mc Dowell.

Michael Mc Dowell TD, Tanaiste and Minister for Justice presented Netwatch With its PSA Licence plus NSAI Standard Award at a reception at the company's headquarters in Enterprise House, Carlow recently. 

The awards recieved by Netwatch include PSA Licence 359 which is awarded by the Private Security Authority, the Statuory body set up in 2004 with responsibilty for licensing and regulating the Private Security Industry in Ireland.

Speaking at the presentation, Mr Mc Dowell said that the Netwatch System was an important development in crime prevention and that Netwatch were to be congratulated on receiving the awards and he wished the company every success in their future development.

David Walsh, Managing Director of Netwatch said the company was delighted to receive the award. "We are honoured that the minister has come to make this presentation to us. 2006 has been an excellent year for Netwatch. The success of the Company has been recognised twice throughout the year during which time Netwatch has been the winner of the PA Consulting Awards for Management Excellence 2006 and have won the Rising Star Award at the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 for 2006.

"We hope to continue this expansion throughout 2007 with the opening of our new Office in Tempe, Arizona. The US Market is a fantastic opportunity for a relatively young company like Netwatch. We have been recieving a lot of queries from US Companies who have become aware of our service.
